Never Been that good at tying knots,
Not that I didn’t want to
But always got confused
Each step of the way, always slips again,
Or it starts to fray, why not use a chain?
Never been that good at writing plots
Not that I don’t have concepts
Characters just aren’t yet
Developed at all, need to grow from small,
Ideas that crawl, around in my brain
Never been that good at playing slots,
Not that I try it often
But I never have won
Each time pull it down, symbols spin around,
Watch them stopping now, why aren’t they the same?
Maybe I need a four leaf clover,
Or just another thing to do
Never been that good at praying lots
Not that I don’t know God
It’s just we don’t talk often,
Each night passing by, look up at the sky asking
What’s it mean to die? but then it just starts to rain
Never been that good at counting dots
Not that I forget numbers
I just start to wonder
About in between, spaces that I’m seeing
Why not be as keen on what’s just more plain?
Never been that good at cleaning pots
Not that I scrub too soft
But still the grime stays on
What do I do instead, soak it, lay in bed
Come back, excited, still there is a stain
But all these things are like red rover,
I know that I can still get through it,
Through it, through, 3, 4
